 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. The illustrative material on check of serviceability of functioning of the vacuum amplifier of brakes is presented on an illustration which all references meeting in the text concern.
  2. Connect the vacuum gage (030) to the brake amplifier (16) and several in pressing a pedal of a foot brake dump depression in a vacuum path.
  3. Connect a tester (051) to a support of the brake mechanism.
  4. Connect a measuring instrument (060) to a pedal of a foot brake.
  5. Start the engine and a sharp otpuskaniye of the squeezed-out pedal of gas create in a vacuum path demanded depression (0.75 ÷ 0.80 bar).
  6. If depression falls at once, or its depth is insufficient, it is necessary to check a condition of the sealing ring established between the servo-driver of the vacuum amplifier and GTTs, the probability of failure of the control valve in the vacuum line is not excluded also. Check the transient valve (see. Section Check of the transient valve). Replace the failed components.
  7. Squeezing out a pedal with demanded efforts, consider the tester indication. Compare results of measurements to requirements of Specifications.
  8. Disconnect from a pedal a measuring instrument (060), disconnect a tester (051) and the vacuum gage (030).
  9. Pump over brake system (see. Section Pumping of brake system).
